Meet Mark

Another person with a puzzled yet amused look on his face upon meeting the Dread Pirate Gavroche. However, this was when he thought the coffee was still his. Hahahaaa! Of course not. Everything in the whole world belongs to the Pirate, free for him to loot and pillage. This includes Mark's coffee. Sorry Mark.

After all that art and culture

What the Pirate remembered most about Paris, was this litre-sized jar of Nutella. We said it before: he is quite the barbarian.

Notre Dame

Is dry on the outside, contrary to the outside which was extremely wet at this time. We went in for shelter, more than anything else. I'm guessing more people than me have gone in for shelter through the ages and besides, there are worse places to keep yourself dry.

Oo la la!

The Louvre! So many works of art grouped together. Here, there is no question 'is this art or is it not?' - if it's in here, it's art.
Valuable art.
And very well-guarded art, too.
Ah, Pirate, this stuff would have been hell to fence anyway.

Paris Opera House

Verrry famous. Verrry closed to any ransacking Pirates. Drat!

Metropolitain

Yes, this is most definitely Paris! (No metro cars were hurt during the making of this blog. Promise.)

Next stop: PARIS!

Going to Paris was an opportunity not to be missed by our dear Pirate. This is the view from the hotel, looking across the canal to the Science Park. He considered looting the place but he decided that science would turn out some boring loot - or much too exciting loot that would blow up in his face - so he decided to leave it. For now.

Sinterklaas

See the guy down there, in bishop get-up, with the kiddies on his knees? That would be Sinterklaas, one of Santa Claus' family members. We couldn't get any closer but the picture HAD to be taken. For sure.

Imagine

Being in the same bed as John and Yoko who came to Amsterdam for their honeymoon. They held a bed-in in the Hilton Hotel. The scene was re-created in the Amsterdam Historical Museum. The guys could not resist.

Kees!

Did not not NOT want to be in a picture. Until the Dread Pirate charmed him, of course. And brought him a little tangerine. :)

Little

Meet Little, quite the musical man himself. His sax sounds amazing. He plays a bit of piano too. Plus he is also a very nice guy. :)

Musical man

The Dread Pirate pays a visit to the brassband school in Rotterdam.

Meet Oscar

(he's the guy on the left there - the other one is the Dread Pirate)

The Pirate was saved from the dinosaur

By this friendly fellow.
